Okay guys, ive posted before and i sort of gotten it to work.. but i've ran into two problems ... the alarm is a clifford solaris being put into a 96 acura integra 4 door gsr

mainly the car will not start in manual mode. i've had the alarm in automatic mode and it remote starts fine. I have the ebrake hooked up so it has to be up for the car to start. However my clutch is bypassed so i can start it without the clutch. I didnt like doing this but i was trying to tap into the wire that showed negative when the clutch was in and couldn't.  Ended up accidently slicing it so now i grounded the wire.

anyway, now that the clutch is bypassed and the car will start anytime w/out a clutch.. how do i use the manual mode?  I just like the safety feature were u have to exit the car and then when u arm it'l shut the car down.  I had it in manual mode and when i did the surestart (safestart?) option, and then take the key out the car would turn off.  how do i work this out.

also for some reason my doors wont lock with the alarm but will unlock...  im sure i have the wires tapped in too..  thanks in advance

ranesh

You have to have the door trigger wire hooked up as well for the manual mode to engage properly. Did you have the triggers hooked up too ? As far as the door lock, did it only happen recently or right from the start ? Tell us what wires you used to tap into for the lock wires.

yeah the door trigger is hooked up.. im sure case the alarm goes off if the door is opened.. maybe thats the sensor making it go off. cause in automatic mode.. car will start with doors open as long as the ebrake is up.. is that supposed to happen?  i need to get in the car to look at what wires i used to tap the lock wires..
