Right now, im working on a towtruck trying to fix the lights. The signal and hazard lights dont work, the brake lights dont work. But, all of the lights turn on when the parking lights are on, only that the brake lights dont get brighter when the brakes are applied and the signal lights dont blink. no fuses are burnt. could someone please assist me with this.

What i was thinking was of wiring all of the lights directly to the switch of each one with a fuse in-line and with some relays, but its a lot of work. maybe perhaps there is a way to fix it easier.

sounds like a bad flasher.. pretty common in old fords... look for 12v at your brake switch [by the pedal, then follow the harness to the back, chances are that the harness has been molested pretty bad when the rear chassis was added.. look for connections thatare out of the ordinary... also check your light switch on the dash... another weak link in fords...
