Does anyone know off hand if a 555x will work on a 2003 Camry?

It should; I want to say that 2003 would probably be the last year for the old-style transponder on the Camry.
Look at the metal blade of the key, up close near the plastic head.
If there is a small dimple on the metal shaft, it's the newer style and you CANNOT use a 555X.
Also, the 555F would be easier to install than the 555X. You could also just install a Ford or Toyota key into a 556U-type bypass, and programming it following the instructions for the 555F.

Thanks for replying...
I found out through research that the 555x will only work on '03 Camrys with Partial or Zero Emission.
...and yes, dimples indicate newer transponder system..

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
