If you have a digital meter test the wires at the key cylinder the starter wire should be there.I have not done one yet but your best bet is at the key cylinder. Once you test it with your meter the wire will not have voltage when you put your key in the cylinder and crank the car to start it the meter should have voltage for a second and the voltage drops to zero again. that's how you find the  starter wire.good luck.

lsondubz, the info you have should be correct.  You dont need the starter wire for remote start.  Just dont connect it.  Make sure you connect all the other ignition wires though.  The only reason you would need the start wire on this car for would be to do a starter kill.

So how does the car crank? Will it automatically crank when there is no voltage on acc but voltage on ign?
