I just got a 2000 Honda Accord that has a Karr 3 button remote. Nothing works. The red LED on the lower left of the dash stays steady red at all times. I looked at the Karr site to see how to reprogram the thing, but it looks like I need 2 car keys and the car only came with one. I assume this was Honda installed, so does this have a receiver for keyless entry? Is there a manual available for it? Would this be a model 2040? It has Panic button on left, trunk/opt on right, arm/dis in middle. Thanks for any help.

Solid red usually indicates being in valet mode

KarTuneMan is correct.
Fear not. Locate the valet button. It is located in the same housing as the led light... 180 degrees facing rearward. So if you put your finger alongside the black housing and wrap your knucle around the back of that housing, you'll be pressing the button.
Now then... press that button for three seconds. No need to turn any keys or anything, just press it for a few seconds.
Light goes out... Alarm is active. Thank me later.

Ok Youngblood, I did as you directed and that shut the light off and I was able to program the transmitter. So far , so good. Thanks for a simple answer to a simple question.
