not really, to be honest, i just want the starter to work, specially with these 20 degree nights. what exactley does the passlock do?

https://www.the12volt.com/downloads/file.asp?ID=250 there will be 3 small guage wires running down from ing switch. 1. yellow 2. black 3. white.  start your truck and cut the yellow and strip the black wire and measure the resistance from the keyside of the yellow to the stripped black and get a resistor within 10% of that measurement and use 2 relays and connect like the picture in the above diagram.

okay, or do you think i should just buy one of the bypass module's? i live in new york, how about yourself?

North Dakota and with the wind it has been 20 to 30 below here. if you do not fell like using relays a bypass unit is a good idea.

oh man, a bit colder than here..... the only thing im wondering, is..... is it difficult to wire the bypass module?

the modules I think are just as complex as using relays. you will still have to measure the resistance unless you want to spend a little extra and there are unit out there that are self learning. but Im cheap. I like relays
