Ok so I have read that you can tap the tach wire at the coil or pcm.... believe it was gray/white, my question is does anyone know if this color follows through to the back of the speedometer and tach in the dash. Was just thinking I would rather tap it there if possible. So if anyone can confirm this or knows which wire it is back there it would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

I would advise not attempting finding tach at the gauge cluster on this vehicle. If removed the computer looses communication with the idle control and it will red line when re-started, trust me i did it. If you decide to try it, diconnect the battery after you unplug/remove the cluster.....
