Alright guys i'm in need of some help, and more so, just some pointing in the right direction of where to look. I just bought an 07 Silverado Classic, it's got the LT2 package with the Bose 7 speaker stereo, and also the steering wheel controls, blah blah. Basically I need to know how/where to get the wiring information for this truck, where to find the modules, etc to interface with steering wheel controls. I'm going to be installing a kenwood kvt-715 in dash in the truck, along with a preamp eq.

I'm having issues finding stuff for the truck since it is an 07 BUT it's the classic, i.e. older body style. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys, i'm not trying to be a pain, I'm really just plain stumped on this truck. I don't want to end up buying the wrong stuff, that's pretty much why I'm here. If it was an 06 I'd have no issues what so ever, but I need to make sure it's all the same for the 07 classic.

hmmmm....not sure. see if PAC or soundgate has an interface for that truck. havent dealt with one yet but im sure its comming. Usually what works for us is the PAC SWIX. Problem is we dont sell kenwood so im not sure it will work with it. check it out though. go2pac.com and soundgate.com

you can use this from peripheral electronics if it is the same as the 06's the part number is  GMAH24B, if the vehicle has the actual 07 stereo with bose in it then you will need this  GMAHLANB  also from peripheral, you will also need a dash kit and an antenna adapter

hope this helps

its such a pain trying to interface or integrate new products in brand new cars. it seems the interfacing companies take half the year to get the products to us.

Can you snap a picture of the radio.  The last 07 classic I did was just a rebadged 06.
