Car Won't Start

I have a 97 Cadillac STS With a MAS Alarm System. The alarm will reset itself and when I turn the key it cuts the power What Causes that?

Sounds like the alarm is set up for passive arming. You might be able to program it not to passive arm.

i dont have a listing for a sts in 97 it goes 98 and up. it sounds like have a power wire that is getting interupted when it starts resetting the alarm.  meter the 12v wire while u turn the key and make sure the power dosent drop out. i think u have to go to the battery on that car...

it cuts the main power wire? or the starter wire? if it's the starter wire, starter kill is hooked up.
