For the life of me I cannot tag the easiest wire. The parking lights. My tech sheet said it was green located at the switch. Well first off there was no green wire at the switch, secondly i metered all the wires on the switch. I finally found one that showed 0V  off and 12V on. The strange thing is that when the truck is running this wire has a constant 12V. Needless to say it is not the correct wire.

Is there another location to tag this wire? Thanks for any help.

DEI shows the parking light positive as green, but the negative as RED / white. I normally use the negative trigger in the column harness for a Toyota.

i almost always grab them in the DKP going to the rear.... green & GREEN / WHITE are usually both right there for park lights and brake....

So I take it that it is that noticable under the running board!

I may just try to tag the (-) at the switch. I looked at another tech sheet and it say the green wire was located at the dimmer switch. The (-) trigger is at the main switch. Ahh so it seems I have options. This was for a friend so I will due this on the weekend. I tell you out of the 100+ starters this is the issue I really ran into. I guess I could of spent more time but i had another car waiting. Other than the parking light thing this 4 runner was not so bad. In, out and buttoned up in ~90 min. Mins all the B. S. and bathroom visits.2000 toyota 4 runner -- posted image.
