Had a customer with a 1993 Jeep XJ and we installed a set of 12" cooling fans for his radiator, Pioneer CD Player, 4 channel amp & mono amplifier. The problem is when he uses the FM radio, there's an alternator buzz in the speakers. THis only happens on the FM band. The AM radio & the CD player play perfectly fine without the noise. Any ideas ?

Have you tried swapping the radio yet? Does the same problem exist with the factory stereo installed? How is the ground on the antenna doing?

Haven't tried replacing the CD player yet and haven't looked at the antenna either. We will be looking at it tonight but thought I would get some options before I go into this. Thanks for the reply and I'll see later on tonight what it might be.
