on the 2000 ford focus can i use one wire only withou diode ?

based on EVERY tech sheet I have ....and I got a bunch, you do not use your dome light wire for door trigger. I do NOT know why, only that if you turn off your dome light......no door trigger. Just a thought.

Use the trigger wires at the BCM with ALL the diodes I guess you don't really want to use.

On the ford focus(uk) the domelight dims down very slowly. This normally causes the alam to trigger as it goes out. I usually use a channel output set to activate on arming for a timed period longer than the light takes to dim.(30 sec ish) Use the relay to break the door trigger wire going to the alarm. Once the light goes out the relay then reverts back to normal and conncects the door wire back to the alarm.
