you should have 2 accessory wires efinately hooked up the dk blue ignition and if you have the RED / white hook it up.
Then the prob should be solved

ok now I got the car cranking... I had mis-identified a wire and hooked up the ignition wrong. Car dies after a few seconds so I am going to take it to someone most likely to check the install on the 556uw I installed. Car turns over and dies with the key in any position but on and with the key out (normal operation). The good news is everything else works and I can get into the setup menus and the power locks do their thing.

check all of your wires at the ignition switch with a dmm that they are hooked up properly. the 556u is technique try repositioning it. it may take a few tries.

got it working! wonderful... a bit of a learning curve with this DEI unit but I've got a fairly firm understanding of their operation/programming.
My issues and solutions:
1) no response from unit - was not a bad brain, not a fuse or a power wire. It was that I did not have the Neutral Safety Switch installed, my vehicle cannot be placed into any geat but park without a key in it so it's a moot point for this wire but the unit would not operate without it installed and grounded.
2) starting than dying - unit was programmed to tach sense operation... set it to voltage sense since the tach wire was not connected and car remote starts properly. My 556U installation was spot on since I didn't need to mess with it.
Now off to tinker with the trunk pop and rear defroster since I've got the door locks working :)

Defroster......BLACK/ white @ the defogger switch. This needs a STRONG POS(+) pulse. Get your relay wired and use a 40 amp fuse for pin 87.

The trunk pop, if you actaully have a button to push, is a lt.GREEN/ black (reverse polarity) located at the keyless module on top of the center of the dash.
