Hello,

I just got a new stereo for my Subara Legacy 1989, and I would like to know how to wire it up. Could someone please give me the colour codes for this?

Might I suggest getting a proper wiring harness for the install. That way its just unplug the stock and plug in the new one.

Also. Dont you mean 90 legacy? I dont recall an 89 legacy.

The car licence says 89 on it. Also I managed to wire it up myself. Tested the speakers by putting a 1.5v battery accross logical contacts to test for speakers, and used logic colours for positive and negative, and tested with a multimeter for ACC power and battery power.

Everything works perfectly.
