Yesterday I installed a Compustar cm4200-dx remote start in my 2005 Chevy Silverado Ext. Cab with a 457gw module.
The remote start works great but with one problem...The airbag light comes on when I use the remote start and the message center says service airbag.
The problem goes away if I start it with the key or if while it's remote started, I press button 4 on the 2-way remote....any ideas...I'm lost now...

This sounds as if your remote start is not energizing all of the required wires. Quoted from DEI:
Ignition      pink       +       ignition harness
Second Ignition      white       +       ignition harness

Accessory      orange       +       ignition harness
Second Accessory      brown       +       ignition harness
Brown is not always needed but the others are required. If you have connected to all of these wires, make sure your remote start is energizing them correctly, Pink and White as ignitions and Orange as accessory.

Ok...I just tore apart my dash again and verified that everything was hooked up accordingly...Blue wire off the 2nd relay to the white second ignition, whit wire off the cm4200 to the orange accessory...is the brown 2nd accessory wire required to be hooked up?? Some say it is, some say it isn't...if this is the case, then i'm going to need another relay to power it up...what else could be making this light go off??????...help please

Make absolutely sure that all of the wires are energizing in the correct sequence as this can cause error warnings as well. Make sure that the wires going to the two ignition circuits do not drop out when starting, and that the accessory wire DOES drop out during starting. That brown wire does not control the Airbag circuit (at least not on any of the GM trucks I have done).
