Hi, As I am sure you can tell, I am pretty new to car audio...I really need some things cleared up..

I will be running an Xtant A4004 ,(1) Orion P 6.2 Component System and (1)CDT Audio CL61A Component Sys.

Can I run the Mids off the power of the amp, and the tweeters off of the deck power, which is Sony CDX-F7715X,

which is like 52W per. channel max......Right now the deck is running the factory mids and tweeters.

The CDT Audio crossover (1) set of inputs, and (2) outputs The Orion crossover is bi-ampable with (2) & (2)

Is it better to just use the amplifier crossovers, or the ones that came with the comp. sets.......and how would I

go about wiring this setup. Thanks for any and all the help!!!

This is simpler than you're thinking. You don't want to use the amp crossover with either of those UNLESS you add a sub, in which case you'll use the hi-pass cross around 100hz or so. Otherwise just use the passive crossovers that came with your speakers.

Don't worry about bi-amping the Oreos, just send a single amp channel to each & split to the mid & tweet from there. Run the CDT's off the other two channels.

You don't want to power any of the speakers off the deck with this setup.

Should sound pretty good.

I am actually running (2)10W7s, and a 1000/1 amp for the subs.

As far as the Orions, how do I split the speaker wires with the crossover,just run them into the middle inputs

I'd use the amp crossover at 80 hz for that arrangement.

On the Orions I couldn't say how to bypass the bi-amp circuit w/o looking at the crossover but it's usually a jumper inside the unit. Check the instruction manual or call Orion.

If there are 4 input terminals, you need a jumper wire between the two positives, and the two negatives. Then the crossover will tell you which is the output to the tweeter and the woofer.
