I guess first off I should tell you my amp is a Profile AP1000, 2 x 160 @ 4 ohms/ 2 x 240 @ 2 ohms/ 1 x 480 @ 4 ohms bridged. The two subs are Rockford P38D4s. 2 x 4 ohms. Should I wire the voice coils on each sub parallel (2 ohm load)?, Or the voice coils in series, and the two subs parallel (4 ohm load)? The amp will work both ways, but is one better than the other?

Coils in series, subs parallel is better than coils parallel, subs in series.

I prefer this wiring, then bridged across the two channels...rather than subs at 2 ohms each onto the respective channels.

Note: this is a preference call, as you will undoubtedly hear no difference whatsoever using any configuration which puts a 2 ohm load onto each channel.  There is also no inherent danger in using any of the above-mentioned wiring scenarios.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
