i installed a step converter for a guy a couple of years ago to use the radio here on a car he bought in Japan...

i have had a few customers come in lately looking for the same item.... i havent found one online... any idea where a guy can track these little units down?

What does your step converter do?

it's just bumps the freq 10 MHz so the Jap radio can recieve North American FM stations... so 92.1 would come in on 102.1 on the radio, etc.... as their (Japanese) tuning scale is different....

i've got a couple of customers looking for these and i cant seem to track them down.... the guy who bought that Japanese BMW said he got it from the guy he bought the car from... so no idea where to order one....

with the  wealth of audio guys on this forum someone must have run across them before......
