Ok, is it just me, or is everyone else having compatability issues with the 1700g?!  Mainly with full size trucks. I have used these since they arrived, and at least 50% of them have been faulty.  They sometimes miss on doorlocks, won't disarm the factory alarm, etc.  If I put a 457g on as a replacement, zero issues, everytime! DEI is slipping!

Hmm. Well, that might explain the loss of in-house quality control. Guess DEI is having those manufactured outside their facilities. They come in a DEI box, and they say DEI on them. Bad idea, but it does explain it.

1700G, 1100X & 1100F are all re-badged idata link modules.....

of course, the 457G is just a re-badged Fortin module (GMDATA-ALL)
