I am installing an aftermarket Pioneer Avic-D2 navigation system in my 2006 Jetta. Can anyone tell me where to find, and what is the color of the (VSS)(vehicle speed sensing)wire ?

if it is the same as the 05 1.8t then it will be on the back of the gauge cluster

pin T32-28 Green in color .

Don;t forget you need the brake switch hooked up(i'm not talking about the e-brake) for reverse camera, you will find that in the fuse box or the drivers kick BLACK/ red

don't forget to test with a curuit safe testlight or voltmeter, failure to test is the installers choice!

Thank you for the info. I have the new model Jetta so I don't know if this applies. I will consider it if I can't confirm the actual wiring diagram.

WHITE/ purple at the instrument cluster.
