Your alt puts out 70amps max. Do a search on this forum. There are many threads about ho alt & where to get them from.

alright another question... i am looking at in the future buying an 18"soloX  to put in the car. would an 170 amp alternator be able to handle 8000-10000 watts real power. or would i have to invest in doing a custom (unless i can find one) dual alternator setup. thanks

alright i just bought this car, sorry it is a 90 celica gt. my setup i was going to put in it was going to be a kx2500.1 and four 12" L5's. the largest HO alternator i can find is only 170amp, and after looking at the current alternator i think there is no way to do dual alternators. with a 2500.1 pulling 300 amps there is no way i can pull off this setup. what do you all suggest for max output with only 170 amps, (only going to be about 120 saying the car takes about 50, maybe?) thanks for any and all suggestions.
