I have been looking all over the place for the correct transponder wires in the 07 camry and cannot find anything about the wires, location or colors. The bypass module(dei 555) didnt come with an up to date wire color chart for the 07s either. I am trying to install a clifford 2.5 rsx alarm/remote start. The alarm is all hooked up and works but sad to say I'm stuck on the remote start.

There are at least a half dozen modules that start with 555, none that i can reacll that will work on a 07 Camry. There is a letter after the 555, what is it?

According to DEI, the 555x will not work on the new Camry. The only DEI module that will work is the 556U, and it requires it's own key....

555X is for old Toyotas, and definitely won't work on your car.
I don't believe DEI makes a no-key-required bypass for your car.
www.bypasskit.com has one, but it is said to be time-consuming and unpleasant to install, including running various wires to the car's ECM behind the glove box. You could read the install manual on their website.

You would think the 1100x would work, but i notice they don't list it on the 1100x instructions or Directechs. Heck, they don't even list the old Camry, yet they do list the Highlander.

the bypass from bypasskit.com is a nightmare to install, drop a spare key in a universal bypass trust me you'll be happy you did.

spare keys are $150 from the dealer and I dont feel its safe having a spare key in a box somewhere in the car when a theif can just bust it open and take out. Going through the extra trouble of wiring it to the ECM is a better choice so I guess I'll have to go check out bypasskit.com.
