Hi
I bought an HID kit from ebay for my 2006 dodge ram. The fog lights were a piece of cake. The headlights i have run into a problem. I can only get them to work on the high beam circuit. This kit does not bring any relays. I think i need a resistor or capisitor.

You tapped into the high beam instead of the low beam on that h13-bulb harness.

before install the hid you have to turn the ligths on, then check for high or low beans, you are coneccting the hid on the wrong position

Hi
I have checked for the high beam and low beam. I found the high beam but the low beam circuit only works when the car is off. I am doing this with a test light. Once the car is on the low beam will only work for a few seconds. I have read that there is suppose to be some type of resisteance on the low beam line for it to work correctly. This is a 2006 dodge.

not sure about that. if its a H13 bulb, then its a H13 bulb w/ no resistor to it.
mess around w/ the switches and test again.

Doesn't the switch it self provide the proper resistance...? Also...don't your HID's only have one "element" I know it's not an element, but anyways. Whats wrong with haveing to turn on your hi's when you only have 1 light.....?
