I installed a Viper 560XV on a 2003 Chevy Express Cargo Van and used a 457GW DEI bypass, the van remote starts but whenever you remote start the van and drive away the transmission doesnt shift, you have to shut it off for about three minutes and wait before you restart it with the key for the tranny to start shifting again. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Did you power up 1st&2nd ignition? no sure if accessory matter for this car, but power this up too.

Better get this check out before the transmission gets messed up.

03 chevy express van

IGNITION 2 WHITE (+) See NOTE *4 IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

NOTE *4 IMPORTANT !!!!! this wire MUST BE CONNECTED as IGNITION #2 for REMOTE STARTING!!!!!!

If you dont power up 2nd ignition and 2nd accessory, which most of these vans have, it screws up the tranny shift sensor.

you need to power up both accesories and both ignitions otherwise you will have tranny problems

accesory- brown

2nd accesory- orange

ignition- pink

2nd ignition- white
