Sirius Sattelite radio antenna relay

I installed it to eliminate static when using sirius radio, once installed sirius is clear but I am now having trouble getting regular radio, no am stations and few fm stations...yes the sirius is off when I am using am/fm radio.  Any suggestions thanks?

If there is a switch to power the fm modulator, make sure it's off when you're not listening to satellite radio.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

what car is it in? I know that in most VW you have to use the powered antenna adaptors to get AM.

Unfortunately ther is no switch, ad the unit is not powered.  It looks like it gets a signal from the sirus radio to switch the relay.

It's a GMC full size P/U 1500, I ended up calling an installer at Best Buy and he basically told me I am SOL, mainly because I have to use 2 adaptors for the antenna.  He also said the adaptors suck up the signal making it real weak by the time it gets tot he radio.  Does this make sense to you guys?
