Hello guys I struggles with the subject line to figure out what the best way to summarize this would be and still dont like the subject line.

I have a pioneer avic n2, I have 2 power acoustik amps, one four channel and one 2 channel. the 2 channel is dedicated to the subs and runs off of the subs output of the head unit. that leaves the 4 channel one and that powers the 4 6x9's. I know there is a sticky on the how to set your gains HOWEVER; there is a switch on each of the amps (crossover) for Highs, lows or full...

Mind you the pioneer headunit has this same function as well.

My question is for the sub amplifier (2 channel one) should I set the switch on the amp to LPF?

My other question is for the 4 channel amp do I set the level on the amp to High, low or full? Thanks guys

Sub crossover needs to be set to low pass (around 80 Hz to start). Set the four channel to high pass (again around 80 Hz to start).

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

this is on the amp correct? I know my head unit has the ability to do this. but I am focused on the amp side of it. the thing here is I dont want to lose any quality of sound by turning the HPF on on my head unit and also HPF on the amp and the same for the subs side....

Yes, I typically don't use the crossovers in the deck, just the one's on the amp.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

There is noting wrong with either approach. I usually recommend using the highest quality crossover in any system. Since Pioneer is a much better company than Power Acoustic, I suspect the HU crossovers will be better. If you do use the crossovers in your head unit, set the amps either to full-pass or so a setting outside the HU band. Meaning, if your HU sub output is set to 80Hz, set the amp to LPF at 200Hz and same for the HPF, set the HU to 80Hz and the amp to 60Hz.
