Hi, as the subject states I have a PKH1 type B unit and it's the first time I ever dealt with this 2 part immobilizer system. It's going into a 1998 Acura RL with a Valet 561R.
I believe I found the 2 immobilizer units. A 2 pin plug next to the key cylinder that leads and plugs into a black box with a larger plug next to it to the left of the steering column underneath the dash. I performed the appropriate tests to verify that it is the immobilizer by unplugging it and the car would not start.
The larger plug is where I should be making my connections, but the wire colors aren't matching up to the diagram provided. PKH1 says there should be colors: light blue, black, WHITE/ green, BROWN / yellow, and yellow/black. The colors I have on that connector are: (2) yellow/black, pink, white, GREEN/ red, gray, WHITE/ red, and black.
Another question is for the the brown(-) negative out when running, should I use the blue status wire found on the 4 pin satellite harness?
Very confused and I need to get it working ASAP. All ideas are welcome.
Thanks.

Okay, today I tested the wires to see if I can find which wire needs to be tapped for the bypass module.
Black wire is definitely ground. One of the two yellow/black wires is the ignition. I don't know if I can test for the data wire because I'm not sure if there is a voltage running through that wire to be tested. If voltage can be measured then the pink wire could be the data wire. As this wire will fluctuate in voltage when the key indicator is blinking.
The battery wire I'm not sure which one. Is it supposed to test 12V at all times? Another wire I do not know how to determine is the starter enable.
