Hey guys,
I've been doing alot of wiring in my truck recently and i seem to have problems when it comes to using the allen style set screw terminals with 1/0 gauge wire. I cant seem to get the wire in cleanly and not worry about excess strands pulling out or being exposed. Ive started taping/heat shrinking all the joints but feel there is something i'm doing wrong when putting on the terminals... are there any tips for this?

You can always get wire reducers or step downs.....that will take 1/0 in and have a solid aluminum or copper 4 guage plug.
They work very very well, I use quite a few on them in my setup
