My question is where is the best place to mount tweeters. There isnt any room in the doors so i was thinking of putting them on the headliner next to the visors is this an ok place?

I believe the best location to locate tweeters is relatively close to the mid drivers, as it will be out of phase when the sound gets to your ears if they are in a far different location

Rule of thumb is to place the tweeters as close to the mids as possible not because of any potential phase issues as kirktcashalini suggested, but because the frequencies reproduced by both the midrange and tweeter are directional. They should work together to create a seamless point of origin rather than two or more points of origin for the same source such as vocals, guitars, saxophones, etc. Woofers can be succesfully placed further away from the midrange and tweeter group because the frequencies they typically reproduce (<100 Hz) are non-directional.

jaime zeledonm, mounting your tweeters in the headliner or near your visors would be a very bad idea.

Indeed.  That's perhaps the worst location I can imagine.  Keep them within one woofer diameter of the mid if you can.

This question cannot be answered correctly because it is way too general. Tweeter mounting in every type of vehicle is very different. To find the best location for YOUR vehicle, you will have to test all of your possibilites to find your favorite.

...while still keeping all of the above suggestions and recommendations in mind.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

in SQ setups you try to move the sound stage as far forward and as wide as possible (perceptively).
Q forms are always a good thought
