Lights flashing on Remote start

I had the DEI 560T installed on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Everything works fine. But, when I remote start the truck. The parking lights flash like hazard lights. I have only had it for a week. I do not remember it doing this when I first got it. Is this normal/

This is a programmable option and you can change it via the programming menu listed in the installation manual. You can find the installation manual for your 560T if you click here.

It maybe right in front of my face. But, I didn't see a programming option in the link you gave me. Is this something that I can change witht the remote?

I apologize greatly, I did not even read the manual. Most DEI product offers a programming menu, that piece looks very much like the BOA do-it-yourself product and does not offer the same programmable options as other DEI products.   I hate flashing parking lights and always turn them to constant when I put in a starter, I wish DEI would change this. Again, I am sorry as I was incorrect to tell you that is a changeable option.

So this is normal for my unit?

Yes, that is the default DEI method to flash the parking lights when running via remote start.
