Anyone know of a multimeter that will read at least 7500 ohms keep getting them as gifts and they dont read high enough have been using a UEI dm200 for years and noticed that it says it has a max ohm of 200. That is no good now that I have really got into using resistors.

I have had a Fluke (I believe model 87) for better than 10 years, never failed me.

I don't think I've ever owned a meter that wouldn't read above 7500 ohms.

If you don't mind spending some money get a Fluke, if you want a decent meter on a budget I've had decent luck with Craftsman meters. It's nice using a Craftsman meter for everyday use, but having a Fluke (or 2) stored away for when you need their speed or accuracy.
