I recently did a 2006 Saturn Ion. I tried a XK-06 but had no sucess. I resorted back to the relay and resistor method. Has anyone had any luck with these? If so how did you wire it up. The instructions do not use the WHITE/ black wire in the ign. harness, but I cant figure out how it would work without it since it is required with the resistor method...

Yeah, used a few and had no problems, dont connect the gowr brown until programed. it comes as a ion platform 1 out of the bag so no programing. Cut the resistor wire green to the key side, blu to the car side 12v, ign off the same harness red white and yellow I belive, orange is a starter in from the rs unit. and a ground... Never had a problem with one... Just those stupid chrysler products! Headach after headach!

Ive used the xko6 many times on the ion, the only problem i had was initial programming, just getting used to it. try it again, but have your relays prepped and ready if no success, but ive really had no problems...
