I might be blind, but I don't see any screws on these speakers, nor on the plastic speaker holders. Are these parts glued or what? How do I remove them?

I believe they clip into the door-skin. Yeah, there are no screws, the same as in the '01 Civic, which I drive.
I might also tell you that there is no way, without drastically modding the stock speaker, or building a spacer of some sort, to get any decent aftermarket speaker in there...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

You mean the plastic holder piece clips in? What about the speaker itself? Is it one piece with that plastic holder?
I'm going to get rid of them both and replace with a speaker of my choice and a MDF speaker holder. I'm just trying to figure out how this car was put together. After going through hell just to replace the stock head unit a few days ago, I must say this car was put together by the devil himself.

The speaker and the plastic holder are one piece molded together, so you'll have to unclip all from the door.

I unclipped it and broke off all 3 clips, LOL! But I didn't care since I'm throwing this garbage away.

I only broke two... on the passenger's side. By the time I got em out of the passenger's side, I knew how to get them out on the driver's side! LAMEST OEM speaker system I think I have ever seen! Front speakers on 03 Civic coupe -- posted image.
