I having to install a GPS tracking system into a 2006 Jetta and I am looking for the wiring for the power door locks, more important I need the unlock color code and where I can pick it up.  I've already tried getting it from the front passenger door, and I'm sure one of the wires I probed is the one, but I was not able to id it.   Any help on this would be great.

Thanks

Meter this wire while pressing the driver door lock switch.
Lock is a straight negative trigger. Unlock is negative trigger thru a resistor. The resistor value is 240-ohms. MUST use relays. You cannot grab this wire outside the door. You will need to go into the door and through the treacherous molex plug to run your wires into it.  Check out the section in the 12v.coms homepage on running wires through a molex plug, it may be helpful.
