hooking up parking light wire

hey when you guys hook up your alarm/rs parking wire do you connect it to the vehicles parking wire only or also to the turn signals while diode isolating the turn signals?thanx

yeah, use the parklight wire......there are some vehicles that i will the hazard lights on, but very rare...list the vehicle, and we can tell you for sure

Parking Lights+
Parking Lights-

For RSX...

Parking Lights+ RED / black or RED / yellow  +  fuse box
Parking Lights- blue  -  switch or security control unit
Notes: The security control unit is to the left of the steering column

Ok and I am assuming if my alarm/rs comes with both + and - parking light outputs then i only hook up one of them even though these cars have both positve and negative parking wires as well. can you confirm this.

yes, you would only need one of them.......never seen a system with both neg and pos park light though........the systems i use are selectable.

the compustars come with both a positive and negative parking light wire. Being that these hondas and acuras come with positive and neg wires i will pick the one thats easier to get to

yeah, you might be right......i've only done 1 compustar...2 months ago, and i try to forget every minute of it......although i did like the bypass module. Plugged the thing into my laptop and had it programmed in a couple of minutes.

Nevermind, i have the box for the module, and its not compustar............um i liked the module.......idatalink.......if any1 needs the usb programmer, let me know......i'll sell it cheap
