I think the new Alpine that is supposed to act like an Ipod is friggin retarded.. It looks like a Dual headunit and an Alpine had a very ugly baby..

i like the auto time alignment and eq stuff, too bad it only comes on the top decks.   the only reason to sell alpine is if the customer has a "newer" ipod.

for 2008 they will change there name to i-lpine

I seen the new Type-R components. There look nice. And to the specs they handle more watt RMS. I think 40 more. There no more chrome middle piece.

I liked the old Type-R components and coaxials better. I displayed the new stuff at Best Buy a few days ago and the new Infinity's sound much better overall (they're next to each other and extremely easy to compare)

I work for best buy too and I really disagree. Those inifinity ref. speakers are nice on the wall but under real life abuse they're weak and tend to blow. The type-r set can probably handle 20 more rms wattage before damage.
