I have noticed that remote starters are made for automatic transmissions, and I understand the "dangers of installing them on a manual transmission, but how would you wire one so that it will work with a manual transmission??  Any help would be greatly appreciated cuz it is frickin' cold up here in MN, LOL.

Buy one made specifically for a manual shift car. There are plenty to chose from. Before you install one, change your door pin switches - I didn't see them but I'll bet they're rusted..

compustar and ultra start have RSs from manuals.
peripheral sells a Neutral Safety Switch that converts an automatic only RS into one for a manual
I believe astro start also has one of these
(I haven't had an opportunity to use any of these yet)

The NSS from Peripheral will work.
