I'm looking into getting a GMDL-BP to install on my 04 deville.

So far it looks like it has every thing I need. Locks, Trunk, Factory arm/disarm, Door Trigs, PK3

My question is it also says "horn chirp confirmation",

So does this mean the car horn will chrip in addition to the alarm siren chirp when I lock/unlock?

I prefer to have just the siren chrip and no horn chrip, I plan on buying an alarm with a soft chirp for that reason.

I don't think so, I know the automaticly lock and rearm passlock when the rs shuts down. I don't think the horn chirps on arm and disarm unless you set it to on the car itself... I could be mistaken, I havnt done many caddi's...

Thats what I was hoping to hear, can anyone thats done a caddy with the GMDL-BP confirm?

i have used them on suburbans and tahoes, it wont chirp the horn unless you wire the alarm to do so. Mine works on siren only.
