Do all of the 300s have a transponder system?? Or is it like the others that if it has a grey key it is Sentry system..?

I believe ALL of the new 300s have transponders. There should be small red 'dot' in the instrument cluster that indicates the transponder. It is about the size of a pencil eraser.

i havn't come across one yet that hasn't. I have come across Durangos, Rams, and one odd Caravan that didn't have the Sentry Key.

The 05 Chrysler 300 DOES have an immobilizer. Some have the grey keys and some have the key with the remote built in. Either way there is a transponder. You can use a BYPASS Kit XK-532 or a DEI 556U To do bypass. I also suggest a BYPASS Kit XK-03 if you are using a 556U. The XK-03 will do second starter and accessory which makes the install a lot easier and neater than the two relays and resistors.

yup, either the XK-03 or the CHDL7-PK2 from bypasskit will work.  If you can get astrostart stuff, the IOM-Chysler 7 works really well too.  No relays required for the vehicle with any of the modules and it takes care of the security, the immobilzer, and the MUX ignition setup that most the new dodge/chryslers are using.  Just make sure you have 2 working keys to program the module.
