Install a remote starter on 1995 Eagle Vision and having problem locating the OEM alarm disarm (supposed to be light GREEN/ orange in drivers kick panel).  Any better descriptions about what harness this is in?  Hope it solves my problem if I hook this up. When the car is running and the door unlock is pressed it burns out the engine compartment fuse for the main ignition wiring. Please send any answers to bobk@westernsales.ca

Hi Bob,

It will be in the harness that comes in the car from the door. The disarm wire comes from a switch that is built into the door's key cylinder. Worst case, you should be able to access the wire in the door boot. Hope this helps.

Notes:

*1 Also find same colors in harness to right of glove box by passenger kick panel.  *2 Tan gets drivers door, tan/red gets pass. doors. Tap both wires and diode isolate.  *3 The SRS (air bag) warning light may come on after remote started, after the key is inserted and the remote start shut down with the brake. If this happens, find an 18ga (NOT 12ga) RED / white in the ignition harness. Power it as an Ign 3 with an additional relay.

Have tried to locate wire but am unsuccessful. Have even removed door panel and only one thick GREEN/ red-orange 10-12 gauge wire is there and found to be for the windows.  Found another GREEN/ red-orange in lower kick panel harness. It has pulses when locks are pushed but hooking directly to this did not work with the (-) disarm off the remote starter unit (autostart as-6105 SH/SR).  No wires come from the lock cylinder itself, but there are some from the latch mechanism.  Would one of these be the correct wire?
