07 hyundai sonata radio removal

I am one of the unlucky guys, that has never seen the inside of one of these beauties. Got a guy wants to add some bass to his "stock" system. Love to help him....without looking like a fool!! 
How do you get the stock head out of this car.... ? Base system, no amp, no JBL.
