Just wondering if anyone here in there shops, etc, that have installed any aftermarket power door lock actuators in a 1999 chevy cavalier. I bought a spal 4door kit for my bro and I'm gonna be putting em in soon. Figured someone might have some good tips/tricks doing so many cars.

Me me me. I have! Done it once. First thing you do is pulled the door panel off on the passenger side. I say Passenger side first because it's the easiest. After the first try, your second attempt is a lot neater when you do the driver side. You will see a rod that locks and unlocks the doors. At this point (long term reliabliy) is just a matter of finding the best position to place the Actuator. Afterward it is just hooking up actuator to the lock and unlocking rod of the vehicle.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.1999 cavalier aftermarket actuators -- posted image.
