01 ford focus tach wire?

Hi ... Installed remote stater and used the tach wire at the coil, car will start sometimes and other times it don't catch. Manual says too strong of a signal will do that and low signal will over crank. Anyone know of a better Tach wire, like what colour at the injectors or the best possiable place. Thanks Ron.

The absolute best tach is in a 16 pin connector on the firewall on the passenger side below the air conditioning fill nipple. It is going to be a BLACK/ White wire.

try relearning the tach signal for the remote start...i catch the tach at the coils every time i do a RS on neons and never had a problem.  just make sure its the right wire and it has a good connection
