Hey Guys. Im in the process of converting my 03 Lexus ES300 fog lights to a 3000K Hid system. The Hid system is a standard plug and play unit. (Bulb & Ballast). Ive installed these kits before in my prior car but, they have all been either 9006 or 9005. This is where i encounter a problem. The H3 bulb only has a single wire coming off the back and the kit has a standard 9006 input into the ballast. How do i wire up this kit? Does one of the wires have to be grounded???

HELP

Thanks!

No im not using the factory h3 bulb. This is a aftermarket 3000K H3 Hid system. Its made by JDM Imports Trade inc.

It uses a plug and play system, however my only concern is how to hook up the wiring. the factory H3 bulb uses only one wire to supply power meaning, well i would assume,  the light is automatically grounded upon mounting. but in order to hook up the ballast you need to supply both power and ground. does this mean i will need to ground the non-power wires to the chasis or battery? You guys will understand when you look at the pics below....

here is the ballast:

Here is the H3 3000k HID

Here is the wiring to supply power to the ballast:

Here is the Hid kit:

connect the ground wire to the chassis and it should be fine. run a relay off the power wire going to the stock H3 bulb, with a dedicated power line running fromt he battery, to the relay, to the HID kit. with a fuse.
