what's the vest way to do this? I like to change just the amps and speakers

I would use a 4 channel line-out-converter at the factory amp or at the back of the factory headunit.  Using the LOC at the factory headunit may have to low output signal which would require a processor that would set it up to a high enough signal for the aftermarket amp.  Then i would swap all the speakers out then wire directly to the aftermarket amp from the aftermarket speakers. 

Where theres is a wire there's a way.
