Ok I have finally constructed the boxes to a pair of solobaric 10's. The boxes are 1.25 cu. ft. per woofer and built to Kicker specs as far as porting goes. My only question know is the sub/ amp combination. I am torn between a pair of L5 10 with a Hifonics B1206D(1200Rms @1 ohm supposedly) or a pair of L7 10's with a Hifonics D1606D (1600 RMS @ 1 ohm supposedy). I was told that the L5's are louder with less wattage, and they also have a greater Xmax on Kicker.com, but the L7's have to be louder eventually. So given my situation and the possible combinations, what would be my best bet for the loudest possible setup? Thanks for the help.

I'd get the L7s and the 1606D...those amps are a lil overrated though. but it should be able to push those pretty good

Thats what I was looking at too. I choose an amp that is too big for the subs so in case the amp doesn't put out what it claims, the subs are still being pushed hard.

I would say go with the L5s, and with the money u saved getting the L5s instead of the L7s i would go buy a better amp

I doubt it but I figured they put out about maybe 200 RMS less than what they say. That is why I have them a little bigger than the subs so that the subwoofers will still be powered fully even if the amps don't put out. I know Hifonics aren't the best made by far, but I also don't think they are that horrible. I just need something decent to put out some wattage.
