Id like to build a custom fiberglass enclosure and i have a few questions. First, will it make a difference if i seperate all the subs with there own chambers? How bout if i dont seperate the subs at all, will it hit as hard?  Im trying to put 4 subs in a trunk of a 1999 Cadillac STS and the trunk isnt that big, so im trying to come up with an idea.

You will hear different opinions on this. So heres mine from experience. As long as well built and properly braced..for max bass don't divide into seperate chambers. I believe the effect is called "loading" or something like that but it is supposed to work.

depends on if your going for spl or sq. the separate enclosures will give you tighter more acurate base while the other will be more load with looser base. I have done both in my durango and prefer the separate enclosures. I get 165 dbls with 2 10s, 2 8s in the rear door with 6.5 separates, and 6.5s in the front doors. When the whole system is complete I will post in here and on cardomain.com
information is the key to solving problems
