I have installed successfully a remote starter in my 1999 Camry and now I have a 2002 Buick Regal Gran Sport that needs a remote.  My last install was a DEI 561T valet into the Camry and it works just fine.  It did require a transponder module (keysense) for the Camry.

I need suggestions on what to purchase for the Buick.  I have seen gizmos of many types to bypass security.  some need keys, some don't.  Sometimes there is a T-harness that is supposed to take care of everything.  There are modules that plug into the datalink.  I don't know which to buy or how to get the most bang for the buck.  I would just like a remote start that would have maybe some sort of feedback feature, though even that is not absolutely required.  I am not sure if the12volt gives brand opinions but if you have some good ideas we can go through regular email or instant messaging.

you can use pretty much any unit. The immobilizer system in the car is only VATS so it can be overridden with a resistor and a relay.
