Hey guys...
Starting off i Have a 2007 honda civic. I just installed a MTX 3202 2ch amp. It had the "smart engage" Which is you dont have to use a remote turn on or a hi/lo level converter its all built in. It comes its 2 RCA's that you just tap into the rear speakers for the audio input and turns on when it sences sound. Anyways..I hook it all up (I dont touch anyhting behind the stereo) and now i get NO STATIONS! It just seeks around the world. Now I go into the trunk and RIGHT WHEN I UNPLUG the RCA's....whatya know perfectly clear stations. WTH!! Plug the RCA's back in and again no stations. Could the amp be sending some type of current backwards into the head unit?? I have the rear speakers in the right polarity soIt couldnt be that. Anyone have suggestions pleae let me know! email me at mesojdm@hotmail.com Thanks! I have been installing car audio for a long time but this just dumbfounds me.

Try re-locating the amplifier. The 2007 Civics antenna is built in the rear window, and the internal electronics of the amplifier could be causing interference.
