panasonic cq vd6503u double din -- posted image.Hello, Does anybody know about this model Panasonic Double Din? I purchased it a little while back thinking that i could upgrade it to Navigation. It has a Navi button on it, but its not lit up like all the rest of the buttons, im guessing cause a navigation unit is not attatched. I cant seem to find one anywheres. I looked in the manual it says available in the future, but its a 2006 Model. Is there any other option i can go? Would a Pioneer or kenwood unit work?

button is for future use. panasonic does not make any mobile navigatin products as of yet. your only option is to use a stand alone nav unit and use the aux input of your panasonic. alpine makes a good stand alone nav

Maybe by late this year the new NAV units from Panasonic will be out. THey introduced an indash single DIN unit with NAV built into it at SEMA, but a stand alone unit is not available. In Europe and Asia, it's been available for sometime now, but the North American market has yet to see one.

Any idea if the Euro one will work in the US?

I bought this thing for Nav and I am not happy with "in future" (they didn't

even use proper English grammer in the upgrade book)
